Day 1: A nice short post as we didn´t get up to much in Wanaka. It´s just a 1 night stop-over on the way to Queenstown and there weren´t even any activities on offer or time to do much in.
Myself and the lads just got some food in that evening and cooked ourselves a meal at the hostel before having a few beers down at the bar. The only other things worth mentioning are Lake Wanaka itself, which is pretty nice, and a lady who we ended up dorming with, whose snoring was so bad that she bought us all ear-plugs to help us get to sleep. Unfortunately, they didn´t make much difference but it was a nice gesture from her all the same.
Nothing much else to report from Wanaka as we were straight onto Queenstown early the following morning.
